The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie
4.0

Agatha Christie always brings her absolute best to the table - and this one is no less! She hooked me from start to finish. This tale about two young adventurers getting tangled up in an international conspiracy with sunken ships, lost memories, invisible adversaries and constant danger, all with witty banter thrown into the mix, was a delight to read! I adore the characters of Tommy and Tuppence, and I'll definitely be reading more books with them. I quite relate to their thirst for adventure. I also liked how she gave each character their defining traits and personalities instead of just having them as pawns or catalysts, it really gave the tale an extra layer. And that twist at the end was something I definitely did not see coming. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and its a fine addition to my growing shelf of Agatha Christie masterpieces.
