WOW. I am in awe over this book. I will admit- at the beginning I wasn’t sure how I felt. The dialogue felt a bit cringy and unrealistic. I was intrigued by the storyline, so I stuck with it. So glad I did. This book tore me in half, sewed me back together and ripped me apart again!!! I understand when they say Xaden is the ultimate book boyfriend. But more importantly, I love Violet’s character development. Watching her realize how powerful and BADASS she is was amazing to read. Rhiannon says to her, YOU are the most powerful rider, not Xaden” made me yell BECAUSE YES MA’AM THATS RIGHT. We love Xaden, but you are the sun, not him!!!! I am excited to become even more emotionally unwell as I start Iron Flame tonight!!
