Dark, intimidating, bone-chilling, intense, and triggering. This book has opened a new door for me to walk through the land of sexual fantasy. I was taken aback to read what’s truly inside this book, it’s like opening someone’s flesh with a fresh cut. It was, how to say it, wild. This book is the very first BDSM book that I ever read, perhaps it is why I was so shocked to finish it. Every chapter delivers something new, describes different feelings and pleasure that one could experience in their sexual intercourse.
although I loved the plot and how the author was delivering the story, I thought Jeremy was static, almost like a robot who can only utter one or two demanding words to Cecily. I see their relationship doesn’t grow from love, it grow from lust so it was pretty bland.
500 pages for sexual intercourse with no room for romantic intimacy is unnecessary for me, Rina Kent could wrap it up a bit shorter.
