Ruined Things is the fourth book in the Folkestone Sins series. This is the second book in Sunday and Payne's story. This book is told from dual points of view from their perspectives.
After the explosive ending in book 3, Sunday has conflicted emotions about Payne. She still loves him but doesn't know if she can trust him. She's been in love with him since they were young, and they were friends before lovers. Payne has some groveling to do after some bad decisions he made. Can he get Sunday to forgive him? Can they find out what is really going on in Folkstone?
This book had so many feels. I felt for both Sunday and Payne when they were going through their struggles.
In the front of the book, it was noted there would be a cliffhanger, and let me say there definitely was. I can not wait to see what happens next in Sunday and Payne's story. Will they get their happily ever after? Or will they be torn apart for good?
