This was a fun, cozy, mystery.

For all the people that loved Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, Encyclopedia Brown etc. have you ever wondered what happened when those brilliant young detectives grew up? That's what what the focus is here.

Lottie Illes was a bright, inquisitive, detective by the age of 10. Charlotte Illes, 24, has grown in to someone that Lottie would not recognize. She isn't sure what she wants out of life, and she doesn't investigate anymore. She doesn't think she's able to be that person that Lottie was.

Then she gets a call from her brother about someone stalking his girlfriend and she agrees to "poke around".

This was just cute. The characters were silly and quirky, and the plot was fun, but not too complicated. It also touched on some good points about shutting ourselves off from those who love us, and it's ok if we don't live up to the expectations of our younger selves because, we were all kind of idiots as kids.

Definitely a good pallet cleanser.
