This is a tale about two people finding themselves along the unfortunate path they have been dealt in life. Two people learning to accept the good in each other, the selfishness of someone else. It is a nice mix between action, romance and self discovery.

I liked the world-building. The town and its surroundings really give that feeling of, not only a certain kind of poverty, but also danger and mysteriousness. The character development might have been a bit more extensive, I often found myself trying to connect with the characters and having a hard time doing so.

The book is fast paced, which is to be expected of a novella. There is magic, vampires, demons, and enchantresses. The story has action scenes with alot of fighting, murder and death. And then there are also the NSFW scenes, which are good.

In conclusion, Auctioned to the Vampire is a fast paced romantasy, perfect for vampire enthousiasts and those who like feel good romances.

Thanks to the author Rosalyn Stirling for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC. I read this book as an ARC reader, my opinions are my own and my review is voluntarily
