A suspenseful romance
This series of books has got me hooked! This book was a little more suspense and a little less romance, but still fun to read. I really enjoyed the detail the author included when it came to describing royal law/expectations. I'm always skeptical of stories where the woman is defenseless and waits for her man to come rescue her. Chey, the main character, danced on the line of being helpless but was able to hold her own in the end. Look forward to reading the next book.
