My Unexpected Vow by Harlow James

5.0

I am a big fan of Harlow James books since I read her book Tangled and I was not disappointed with My Unexpected Vow. When I normally read I book that I get an ARC of I read the book in a single sitting and then I’m sad that it’s over, so when I read My Unexpected Vow I made an conscious effort to read it slowly and I’m so happy I did because I was able to thoroughly enjoy it and I didn’t miss anything.
Hayes Weston is happy in his life, he loves running his night clubs and his bachelor lifestyle. Until one day his dad comes to him saying he wants to retire and while Hayes is all for becoming CEO of his family’s business but his dad says he’s not comfortable with him taking over until he’s more settled down. So now Hayes is under pressure to become more settled down and maybe even find a bride...

While their marriage starts off kinda rocky, with Hayes constantly picking on Waverly son their fake marriage turns into a real relationship. But when Hayes gets what he wants and becomes CEO he stops putting their relationship first and their fledgling relationship begins to crumble. Can Hayes convince Waverly that he’s in it for the long haul?
