The Honey-Don't List
by Christina Lauren
I LOVE all CLo books. This one was a little flat and predictable for me. The funniest this was the title seemed to be completely irrelevant to the story. There was mention of Mel's Honey Do lists maybe 3 times in the book and they were an off hand comment that could have been in any book. Bad title.
I think I would done more of a play on the assistant thing or the production of the show. The show being the actual shows and the show the Tripps put on for others.
I loved the characters but the story itself felt rushed and squished into 300 pages. I wanted a lot more character development to draw out the passion and the changes in thier personalities.
Still a really great summer beach read.
Doesn't make my top 10 CLo books or my top 20 books in general!
