No Place Like You by Jeannie Choe

2.0

This book was interesting at first, but it became boring and repetitive to the point where I was on the brink of DNF it.

Lucy and Dex didn't seem to have chemistry in my opinion, and the sex was cringey af. However, I enjoyed Dex's relationship with his sister! Because the book was so repetitive, they would repeatedly relive the same day: Lucy's internship, idk what Dex would do, eat Thai food and make out, and then hospital. That's it.

Then, in the three months Lucy stayed there, I find it weird that nobody visited his place. She literally has her entire family in New York, so this whole thing about her returning to Seattle wasn't needed.

Thank you Good Girls PR and Jeannie Choe for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
