Romancing the Werewolf by Gail Carriger

Carriger's skill in the world building of this series is to be congratulated, years after picking up a proper Parousol novel the characters and their circumstances all came flowing back as I started reading the story of Biffy and his adventures as the new Alpha of the pack. I also seem to have missed the entire arc detailing the sad end of Lord Macon succumbing to the Alpha's curse (couldn’t quite get into the Custard Protocol where this all goes down apparently)
20 years after being turned into a werewolf, our young Dandy Biffy and former drone to Lord Akeldama finds himself struggling to assert himself as Alpha to the pack, and his emotions in a whirlwind after the return of Professor Lyall to his proper position as Beta of the London Pack.
There’s a rather strange sub plot of babies being abandoned at the literal doorstop of the pack but really this is about the lovely schmoop that is Biffy and Lyall.
