"But maybe it's not about owing your story. Maybe it's about wanting other people to know."
This was a cute, lighthearted read. A story about queer characters set in Tennessee unfortunately cannot be told without some mention of homophobia, but I thought it was both realistic and handled well. I was rooting for Emmett and Luke, even when I was frustrated by them. Finally some romance leads who know how to communicate, though!
To the Wanda Jeans and Verna Roses of the world, I hope you're a little bit happier today than you were yesterday.
