Definitely needed to de-stress after work.
Was this the correct books choice for de-stressing? Most likely not—but sometimes we don’t make the best choices. I know that Hopkins is Lutheran and might not know the LDS faith as well, but the main character (Pattyn’s) constant “battle”with faith is written incredibly well. The book holds up pretty well considering it was published in ‘06 (and is thus older than several of my students).
