Shopaholic to the Stars
by Sophie Kinsella
The Shopaholic books are like car crash TV for me. Becky equally frustrates me and endears me. This new book is the usual romp through the next phase of Becky's life, this time in Hollywood where Luke has landed a job. Becky deals with the ups and downs of celebrity life.
I have only given this book 3 stars because the story didn't finish fully. Becky realises what her priorities are, and that has closure - but she is left still chasing across the country after her father and Tarquin who are having an adventure of their own. It felt like a ploy to persuade me to buy the next book in the series.
