Well... That was some book. It definitely left an impression.
I mean, if you've seen the content and trigger warnings, you know you're in for a dark and twisted story. You get a lot of really edgy and toxic kinky stuff ;)
For the first half of the book it felt like watching a car accident, I wanted to look away but couldn't. What those boys did would have landed them in prison in my country. And it was hard to believe that this story would have any kind of romance. But it got better. And the HEA was sweet and made up for the really intense, brutal and sad story. Still... I mainly read for enjoyment and this story was just a little too brutal most of the time to be really enjoyable.
