Armageddon in Retrospect: And Other New and Unpublished Writings on War and Peace by Kurt Vonnegut

3.0

I had been reading Kurt Vonnegut books since about 3 years before he passed. At the time of this book's release it was quite a treat to be able to read new material that I had not already read. This book is a nice collection of POW stories and one speech. They don't give the dates from when they were written, but they almost sound lie they could be beginnings to his search for "Slaughterhouse-Five". They may be totally false, all the stories center on characters who are POWs after the war dealing with life and trying to get back home. Overall they are good stories, but nothing too spectacular.
