Origin by Dan Brown
2.0

I really think Dan Brown has written some good books, but sadly this one is just the same old dish , gone cold and stale, remodeled with a new cover and served to the readers. I really love Langdon and his adventures, the symbolism and the great amount of trivia I learn from these books, but it is disappointing to see that this book has been a mini snoozefest for me so much so that I guessed the ending halfway through the book. Many surprises and theories seemed forced as if trying to reconnect to the readers with modern theories about technology and religion which jarred at your mind. The book had its moments but none of the old world charm and nail biting theories and mysteries that had catapulted Brown to the limelight with Angels and Demons or Da Vinci Code.

Read it for the sake of being able to say I have read all of Dan Brown's books else you aren't missing anything
