Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse

Cried at the library finishing this but who’s surprised. So interesting to re-read this after what feels like now so many years! and certainly after having learned so much on what this book is about. Both through personal learning and Hinduism/Yoga courses in university. But also experience. Which is fitting for this book to say.

(Let is not forget the author was a German orientalist who upon visiting India was very racist and judgmental or the culture which has the foundation of thought for this entire book… but damn did he write this well)
