On a technical level, I found this book to very well excecuted. From what was written in the beginning I could  predict where the book was going and what was going to happen and that was very satisfactory.
Cinder is very likeable and also so, so, so unlucky. Like all the book she cant catch a break I felt bad for her I just want her to be happy. The same could be said for Kai like please let them have a break holy shit. They made me suffer and I appreciate that.
I love the blend of the sci-fi and fairy tale elements, its not a completely impossible match but it is one that's hard to do well and this book manages to do it very well by basically being a retelling of Cinderella.
I immediately picked up the next book because I need to know how my girl Cinder is doing and I want more of this sci-fi fairy tale retelling stuff
