Tower of Dawn
by Sarah J. Maas
I was completely prepared to not enjoy this book because SJM has so decimated Chaol’s personality in the last few books. However, this book is wonderful. Yrene is a joy. Nesryn finally felt fully realized as a character. Chaol is brought back from the depths of his despicable temperament and behavior. The introduction of new characters is a delight. All are dynamic and diverse who tie up some loose ends and perhaps are now strings that will weave beautifully into the future of this tapestry we know as ToG.
I especially appreciated how SJM dealt with healing versus wholeness and the work/journey it takes to discover both.
