I was provided with an ARC of Even Exchange. Thank you Hailey Dickert!

This book was fun for the most part, but I should have read the content warnings before going into it. This is marketed as a friends to lovers, fake dating, sex lessons, accidental pregnancy book. Which it is. However, the MMC is *not* the father of the baby. Which I didn't know. This information IS included in the content warnings at the end of the book, and on the author's website, but I didn't read either so that's on me.

I did enjoy Noah Caruso, and to be honest, when I heard the MMC was an Italian man who wore a gold chain and loved his mother, I was going to read this anyway. He's so devoted to Charlie, and I felt their connection and relationship was genuine. I also liked Charlie, I thought her character development was great from start to finish.

The last 10% of this book is wild though. Literally so much happens that I was not expecting, but maybe could have gleaned from the content warnings as some of it was listed. It just felt really sudden, and just like a lot for a 20yo FMC and 23yo MMC to go through.

I really wanted to love this book, but Noah not being the father of Charlie's baby really threw me for a loop, which again is my fault for not reading the content warnings. I'm not sure if in the final version the content warnings will be at the beginning, but they were at the end of this ARC copy. I probably would not have skipped them if they were at the beginning.
