I don't support that woman's wrong but maybe the Pounds family deserved it.
Feito leans into the horrific aspects of the Victorian era. The book is graphic, it is over the top. Sometimes it was too much for me. At the same time, it is refreshing to look at the upper class of the 19th century through a critical lens.
