This was an awesome book which was released late last year and I got for my birthday, it's about how aliens have invaded pop culture over the past 100 years.

We see how depictions of aliens have evolved over the years in pulp magazines, comics, TV and in movies.

From eyes on stalks, robot aliens, blob-like B-movie aliens of the 1950s, realistic aliens from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, monstrous aliens from the Alien movies, the friendly alien from E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial and the shape shifting alien from The Thing among many others.

It's filled with interesting information, photographs, artwork and movie posters.

Very enjoyable read, put together so well.

If you're into such things, you should give this one a go!
