To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf
5.0

A masterpiece of modern English literature.

The characters' inner thoughts and desires are presented in a unique way, while their feelings can be shared by the reader. It is also interesting how one can relate to both Mr. and Mrs. Ramsay at the same time, who act and think in different ways, but still love each other.

The book is full of symbols that hide questions about many different layers of human existence, thus becoming timeless.

Finally, Woolf is a conductor of human emotions, which is clearly evident in "To The Lighthouse".

Highly recommended.
