This book was written for readers who want to have written dubious consent with darker themes of plot and political scheming.
I enjoyed this book a lot more than I anticipated and thought the author did a wonderful job balancing things between the characters that were dark but justified.
I really enjoyed the two main characters dynamic and the world that the author created revolving around the LORDS and their history.
This book was slightly repetitive with some of its verbiage/sayings and the plot I saw coming and for that I would give a solid 4 star rating instead of a 5.
I will definitely continue on with the L.O.R.D.S series but I am aware the next books have darker themes and I am going to work my way up to some of the trigger/content warnings the other books have listed.
