My rereads are going faster than I anticipated! But I’m loving taking this journey again. Sometimes books hit different when you’re in a different stage of life. But so far these rereads of books 17-26 have still had me feeling the same.
My best friend is a man. And seeing Edward and Anita in their friendship and how they choose each other, support one another, and always have the other’s back without sex being involved is fucking amazing. Having Olaf return and the Four Horsemen reunited still gets my heart pumping. Their dynamic has changed since we last saw Olaf but now there’s a new understanding. While I love the cases they work I have a deeper fascination with the all interpersonal relationships and how they’ve evolved.
