My goodness, how does knowing the Danish word for cozy create a trend? Who is falling for this? Everyone in the world already has these habits, so this books is redundant and silly. Calling something by a different name doesn’t reinvent the wheel. I and everyone I know does 98% of what’s in this book. I don’t ride a bike everywhere, but I want to see you ride a bike to work in North Dakota in -30 and 2 feet of snow in winter. Ha! ND has a lot of Norwegian heritage but that means nothing. I’m from TN and my husband is from CA and these are people’s habits all over the US.

Basically, this book comes down to two things: the reason all Danes are so darned happy is the welfare state and safe spaces. Haha whatever. The idea of “safe spaces” is already ruining a new generation (and every American University) who is afraid of the big wide world and encountering people who might have different opinions than them, and the welfare state has proven time and again to cause more problems than it supposedly fixes, not to mention making everyone in society lazy moochers. We all already know what makes a home comfy and homey, so I guess when all the socialist moochers eventually can’t function under the inevitable burden of “adulting” they have a place to hide and pet kittens.

So glad I didn’t pay for this stupid book.
