Stephanie Plum, my girl, you are a piece of work and I love that for you.
It's got everything you might want in a cozy: a snarky and relatable, slightly naïve protagonist, fast pacing, an intriguing plot, and a slew of fun side characters. This is a combination of multiple Melissa McCarthy movies, like The Heat meets Spy.
Despite being published in 1994, there weren't many instances of this book aging itself - except for the fashion and some of the descriptions of characters.
