A GREAT first book in the series! I loved how the author was able to tie in king authors story with the modern day and past. The main character was at times a bit annoying for me, but I liked that she finally became braver thanks to her connection with her ancestors. Something I struggled with was all of the meanings, names and titles, but eventually it started coming together and made sense. Can’t wait to read the second book!
