Another mandatory school reading 
The premise had potential but the main character was so utterly uninteresting. Also definitely not an objective critique but I just didn’t like any of the characters and I thought they were all at the very best unlikeable. The book didn’t captivate me in any way, maybe because I’m not very receptive to historical fiction.
