Was I expecting to cry and be highly emotional while reading this book? No, no I wasn't. Did I adore this book so much I even ignored my bf so I could finish it? Yes, yes I did. (He's okay, he had food and water)
I just gotta say, EM Lindsey, I was NOT EMOTIONALLY READY for this book but I was so happily surprised that I wish I could forget all about it so I can read it and have all the feels al over again! Tucker and Amadeo are my new fave sweethearts and the emotional roller coaster I went reading their messy first encounter -which led them to get married in Vegas and then not remembering a single thing- all the way to them accepting that what they had was worth everything was such a bittersweet experience cause yes, I want that too!
Also, the way the author handled the disabilities, yet making the characters independent enough was such a refreshed and awesome way, Kudos to you EM! It was so tactfully done and well approached that I had to immediately recommend the book to a few of my friends.
Most of all, it was Amadeo I resonated with the most. As a person who has been somewhat in his shoes, I loved how realistically you made his struggles and how, sometimes, is not as easy as it looks. That even asking for help is a struggle (for both Deo and Tuck) yet it doesn't mean you are not capable or worthy. So thank you EM, for making such a wholesome story, full of lessons and romance, and to teach us all that we're not alone.
