I loved this book. I'm glad I listened to SGJ talk about it on Talking Scared first so I knew going in that the writing style would be a challenge. It is absolutely worth sticking around for. The writing is poignant and heart breaking at times with some truly visceral scenes. I didn't care for the academic 2012 bits on either end, but the more I think about them the more I see their place.
