I enjoyed this book way more than I expected it to. The gore wasn’t too intense that it put me off, which is a definite win! I really like Orphilia, she was flawed without being helpless. Unfortunately, I did guess a twist in the story but the story didn’t pale because of it. I thought it was going to lean more into the trial fantasy trope but I felt this was a more unique take on it. Great read for romantasy lovers!
