The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Collins Classics)
by Mark Twain
I suppose kids may not get the problems with the plot but I found a couple of things that just don't wash. For one thing why keep going down the Mississippi when you figured out you miss Ciaro in the fog. I know the Mississippi river represents freedom but still a slave going further into the south is crazy. Second all that stuff Huck and Tom did to free Jim is crazy too. If he was captured and they got him out to help with the stone, he would have ran away. I know he had a good heart and all but I just don't see any slave going back into a prison enviroment just to humor a couple to kids.
