This was my first CoHo and wow, I absolutely loved it. I’ve read some reviews saying this was not the best book by Hoover which makes me just want to go and read them all!

I had no idea what the story entailed but I was not expecting a paranormal story! When Layla and Leeds meet they have an instant connection, I was obsessed with their relationship from the get go and I felt the instant connection to these characters which felt so real.

When a terrible accident nearly claims Layla’s life, Leeds surprises her with a trip back to where they first met, what should of been a romantic break turns into a paranormal nightmare with a HUGE twist that I did not see coming!

The paranormal concept was so different and something I feel like this book is one of my top reads for 2021 easily! It’s captivating, unique and addictive, I just had to keep reading to see what would happen next. I’m so excited to read another CoHo!
