This is a book I have mixed feelings about, as I loved both protagonists and I did ultimately like them together (and they definitely had great chemistry), but the fact that one of them was pining for the other for SO long made things between them feel quite unbalanced even when they were eventually in the same place. There was also a period around the middle of the book where I found both of them and some of their decisions and thinking quite irritating and frustrating, but luckily that passed! One thing I did really love was the small-town setting and the great cast of side characters, so I'm still keen to continue the series in the hopes that I'll love future books more!
