Puck Shy by Teagan Hunter

3.5

Accidental audio reread. This was in the audible plus catalogue and I’ve read and enjoyed books by Teagan Hunter before, so I started listening. The meet-cute sounded oddly familiar, come to find out I’ve read it before. I enjoyed this one, though a little less than the previous time. I couldn’t really get behind the hero’s reasoning for keeping his identity hidden, nor the heroine’s reasoning for keeping the hero at a distance. The audio was good, but one thing that really annoyed me was that the female narrator pronounced asterix (*) as asterick during texting scenes. It really grated and took me out if the story. Other than that the audio was enjoyable.
