Jordan Lane is going to a Reve with her little sister, Maisie Lane, she is not sure of this group dreaming thing but she isn't about to let her sister go alone. At 21, Miaise jumps into anything new regardless of the danger.
Malcom Rook, alias for this mission is Micheal Reese, is looking for new talent to work in the Reves to protect them from intruders and hunt criminals in their dreams. He spots Miaise at once as one who will take to the dream scape, thinks her older sister might but she is very controlled in the waking world he would have to see if she made it into the dream.
Miaise lied to Jordon, it was not her first Reve, she had been doing thing for months and was actually a paid courier, but now she was getting nervous about the places they were sending her.
Jordon and Malcom click together both in the Reve and while awake. When a client try to entice her to fear Malcom and go with him, even though there is a lot she doesn't know Jordan chooses Malcom and leaves her old life behind.
Nightmares try to separate and kill them. Can they fight their way through and awake again? Or will they be caught in the Darkwaters of their nightmares?
Loved this story! I rate this book five stars and will be reading the rest of this series.
