Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
5.0
I'm writing this a little late but better late than never.
This is my favorite book and it's very personal to me. This book is witty and sweet and angry and sad. When I started reading I wasn't completely sure what to expect other than a romance between the FSOTUS and a Prince of Wales. But what I found was so much more.
I found a beautiful story about a half-white, half-Mexican bisexual from central Texas learning to navigate the world as a young person. Really, I found myself.
This has been the first book that I have ever felt really embodied me and I'm so grateful to the author for that.
I will probably recommend this book forever. So, if you are thinking of reading this book I really think you should.
I don't think any review I could write would give this book any real justice, but this is my try.
