Sloane and Rowan are both serial killers who kill other serial killers when a chance encounter leads to an annual game…and a relationship neither of them saw coming.

This is easily one of the most messed up and chaotic books I’ve ever read and I loved every second of it. Definitely not for the faint of heart, and please check out CWs, but this was bloody and gory and gross and somehow also sweet and heartfelt and adorable and I’m obsessed. Rowan and Sloane were so wonderful, and the depth of both their characters alongside their chemistry together made this an unexpectedly emotional read at times in a really beautiful way.

I absolutely cannot wait for this series to continue, because I already know I will be head over heels for Lark and Lachlan, and I’m truly so glad this wild, weird, wonderful book/world/trilogy exists. Highly recommend!

CW: Honestly almost anything you can think of and more that you can’t—they’re at the front of the book and I recommend consulting them before you read!
