Eh.
I like the idea of this book, and the intention behind it. There are some good suggestions in here and some solid information about permaculture gardening in a suburban. But I wound up skimming over huge chunks.
The author really needed a better editor. The prose was too often clunky or stiff, and the autobiographical bits that could have added charm under the deft hand of a strong editor wound up detracting instead. The book wasn't organized well. The quotes and photos felt like fillers, they didn't add to the content or the reading experience.
