y'all the way I struggled with this book. Not because it's badly written, not because the story didn't make sense, but because of how MESSY THIS STORY IS!!
If y'all want something just as messy as real life, just as messy as the story you heard about at girls night, this is it.
I don't have much experience with messy and maybe that's why I was so conflicted hahahahaha
I also went into this book completely and utterly blind and wow THE WHIPLASH THIS BOOK SENT ME!!!!!! I WAS GAGGED LEFT AND RIGHT THE ENTIRE TIME. I fear for the people who saw my visceral reactions whilst I was listening to this book because wow.
Would I recommend this book, yes. Did i like it? Hard to say!

Did this book make me reflect on my own treatment of myself because Marcela treated herself like shit, yes. If delusional was a person, Marcela would be on the poster. 😭😭 MY FEELINGS ARE TRULY UP IN THE AIR WITH THIS ONE!!!
