I cried about 90% of the time. I resonated a lot with Savanna and Cael and I held a lot of emotions still from Poppy’s story. This was written absolutely perfectly to depict grief and its different manifestations as well as the work it that goes into healing, I would have just liked to see more of the 1-on-1 and group sessions throughout the trip. Tillie did a phenomenal job portraying different cultures and the views of life and death as well as how grief and healing is not linear and small things can trigger a wave of emotions.
Graphic: Cancer, Cursing, Death, Gun violence, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Terminal illness, Grief, Mass/school shootings, Car accident, Death of parent, Abandonment
