H is for Hawk
by Helen Macdonald
This book was a lovely story of grief and life after loss that was sad but hopeful. I loved the main story of the author and Mabel, and the writing was beautiful and read like prose. I thought the secondary story of White was fine but slowed down the book for me, although I can understand why the author included it.
