Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult
4.0

So many feels with this book, not sure I have processed it all. I know Jodi Picoult as a popular author, but had only read one of her books before and had in my head she wrote basic family drama love type novels, which are not normally what I reach for. This one I'm not sure why I decided to get, but am glad I did.

First, it includes so many topics that draw my interest: travel- loved reliving spending time in the Galapagos. Covid- may still be a bit raw, but thought she did well to show some important aspects of what we've gone through. And then other nice perks popped up- a Yoko Ono character, art auctions and then of course mother daughter drama and love.

While I didn't love or agree with the main character often, found most other characters not super developed, and am still deciding how much I liked the ending, I read most of it in one sitting and loved how it was written to make you think and feel.
