First half had me hooked, but I dont think I'll be continuing this series. I'm not sure why, or how to explain, but I just wasn't into it by the end. Perhaps it was the persistent time shift between past and present (which felt unnecessary- I already had an understanding of how traumatic it was), or that the Big Reveal of the non-romantic plot felt drawn out and not suspenseful. Maybe that the FMC and MMC chemistry seemed to come out of nowhere? I guess I can articulate it. 
Anyway, not bad. But not great.
