Everything You Ever Wanted by Luiza Sauma

4.0

Omg that ending! What? It was sweet in a way but I don't really think I understand it. I loved how you could see Iris just spiralling further and further into madness at the end parallel with the outside circumstances also deteriorating. This book is obviously not something I can relate to in a direct sense seeing as I've never considered moving to a different planet of any kind - BUT the emotions displayed in this book are marvellous and so relatable. I think Iris is such an honest and true character and I really resonated with her. Made it easy to follow along.

This book is also unlike anything I've ever read before - yes I've read science fiction of sorts but what makes this stand out is the seemingly normal circumstances and how this isn't far off from something that could've happened and which is very much relevant today with global warming etc.

All in all a good book - def worth a read (:
