This is a new author to me, and on paper it really doesn't sound like it would be my kind of book. It has lots of humour in it, but also a serious element in the form of a parent with dementia, so I found myself feeling sad one minute and laughing to myself the next! I can't really relate to much of what Nina goes through, but I liked her - and her friend Lola - very much.
