The Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman

3.5

So I've read this before, but that was maybe 5 years ago so I didn't remember a lot. I did however remember I enjoyed it.

I believe the book is better the first time one reads it, so because I had read it before and knew somewhat what would happen next, I used quite a long time on it this time around.

It was still enjoyable and entertaining. I kept forgetting that the main character is 13/14 years old; I kept thinking he was 16.

Think my only complaint was how some things were described; especially women (don't know if it is on purpose or how the author actually thinks....?), and objects that these boys have never seen.
To specify, they were described in a way that made it very obvious what said object were. However I wish the objects were described more from how someone who has never seen it. Like, the readers aren't dumb.
