I’ll admit, the book kept moving, and I didn’t expect the final twist. However, it felt like a undigested mix between Carl Hiaassen and Jane Austen. The eco-thriller bits were clever and fast-moving. The character analysis was generally facile and I couldn’t decide if it was meant to be facile and that was the ironic point or if it just wasn’t as deep as the author meant.
